Congratulations on your wedding!
I have known Allison for years and had the pleasure of meeting Miguel just a few years ago. Within the last few years, I have seen these two individuals grow and build such a life together, along with their son Jackson!
This lovely couple demonstrates love with every action and every word and I have been so fortunate, not only to photograph their special day but to be friends with them and get to see their love continue to grow first hand.
I am absolutely so blessed to know these two wonderful people.
In speaking with Allison months before her big day, it was clear that she was a woman who knew exactly what she wanted. Right down to the smallest detail, she had a vision and all I can say is she nailed it!
Allison began getting ready for her special day at her father's house on July 16, 2024. Her sister LJ and niece Layla helped her during the getting ready process. Dad's first look was at her childhood home and the look of surprise on his face was one we will not soon forget. LJ's husband and infant daughter remained at the house as Mira was too young to travel by boat, sadly.
Boats launched from Riverbend Campground in Leeds, ME. Allison and her father, John, canoed from the boat launch, down the Dead River, and out to Norris Island where they were greeted with an enthusiastic congregation of friends and family.
Their ceremony was intimate on the island but just as beautiful as one could hope for.
Reception consisted of a late lunch, snacks, drinks, and swimming in an incredible 88 degree lake! Sunshine kissed every attendee as they visited and congratulated the beautiful couple!
